PDFTuesday, September 15, 2020
See Water, Inc., an industry-leading developer and manufacturer of innovative electronic pump control panels for water and wastewater operations, proudly announces the launch of its latest advanced industrial control solution, the Trident™.
The Trident™ is a three phase duplex control system designed to simplify pump stations in water, stormwater, and industrial water lift stations and other commercial and municipal applications. This float-operated system features a power base that allows for easy overload changes with three different options, including pump full load amp (FLA) ratings from 1.25 to 5.0, 3.0 to 12.0, or 8.0 to 32.0.
“The Trident™ is a welcome addition to our premium line-up of advanced control systems,” said Ken Durant, Director of Sales and Marketing. “It is a comprehensive three-in-one solution that meets the specifications for several of our industrial, commercial, and municipal customers.”
This control system uses the Modicon PLC for control logic and supports industry communication protocols, such as ModBus TCP and BACnet. It allows for slave operation, remote monitoring, and control of the pump station.
Pump control visible indicators include Pump #1 and Pump #2 hand-off-auto (H.O.A) switches, green Pump Run lights, red Pump Fault lights, and a green Power On light. Alarm visible indicators include a red beacon alarm light, and Seal Fail leak alarm test and silence buttons.
The Trident™ comes with a NEMA 3R rated painted steel enclosure with a lockable latch and dead-front inner door. It is UL 508A listed for the United States and Canada and comes standard with a two-year limited warranty.
There are several custom adders available such as an upgraded stainless steel enclosure, an Intrinsically Safe relay for hazardous locations (UL 698A), lightning secondary surge arrestor, through-door main disconnect, phase monitoring, and Pump Portal® wireless remote communication. The system comes equipped with four floats with the option to upgrade to a level transducer (with three backup floats).
